EDD Inbox에 Verify 하라는 메일이 들어 왔는데요,
작년 3월부터 5월까지 실업 수당을 받았고,
현재는 일을 하고 있어 실업 수당 안받고 있는데도 Verify 해야 되는 건지요.
팝업창에는 "If you are not filing for unemployment, STOP"이라고 되어 있는데
메일 내용에는 아래와 같이 나와 있어 해야 되는건지 아닌지 헷갈리네요.
Consequences of Not Verifying Your Identity
If you do not verify your identity with ID.me:
- You may be denied benefits.
- If you are denied benefits, you will receive a disqualification notice (Notice of Determination) in the mail with appeal information.
- If you are denied benefits, you may also be assessed an overpayment, which you may need to repay, if you do not qualify for a waiver. (You may also be subject to penalties if you intentionally provided false information.) You will receive a Notice of Overpayment in the mail with appeal information.
