Hello, everyone!

Happy ChooSeok! Are you going to celebrate with your family?

I'm not sure what I'm gonna do....

I will definitely buy some Songpyun.

My husband loves them so much.

I know Americans generally don't understand the taste of rice cake,

but my husband somehow discovered the good taste...ho ho

I remember when we were poor students,

I wanted to celebrate Chooseok but we didn't have money.

So I managed to buy rice power somewhere

and cooked it with hot water.

I showed my husband and my toddler how to make Songpyun with the dough.

That was the first time I had ever made Duk.

My husband with blue eyes made the prettiest Songpyun with his huge hands.

We had such a great time as a family making Songpyun that day.

It was such a sweet memory.

I used to be such a tomboy in Korea and

I had never dreamed to make something like that in Korea.

Now I have money to buy Songpyun,

and we live close enough to Korea town.

We are all too busy to make Songpyun.

Life is like that.

Easy and convenient.....

but we're losing memories.

Let's make Songpyun everyone!
