We've been living in this apartment for over two years, adhering to a month-to-month agreement as previous Korean tenants did, with no issues regarding late rent payments. However, I don't understand why you're suddenly insisting on a rent increase and a new lease agreement exclusively for us. This is unexpected as most landlords in New York don't raise rent for house tenants like us, especially considering we pay separately for utilities like hot water, cooking gas, heating, and electricity.

Our grievances include:
1. Difficulty in receiving Amazon parcels due to strained relations with the upstairs neighbors, causing stress even in collecting mail.
2. The second-floor tenant's car often blocks the gate, hindering trash disposal, despite our complaints.
3. As a landlord, we expect you to mediate disputes and address noise complaints. The upstairs tenants frequently make excessive car noise, even late at night, which you seem to ignore.

We hope to maintain a good relationship with you until we move out. We prefer to continue on a month-to-month basis and would appreciate a reconsideration of the rent increase. If an increase is necessary, we'd like to understand the justification. We seek your assistance in mediating with the upstairs neighbors to avoid direct confrontations and appreciate your understanding of our situation with the noise issues.
