| Since the day one, I have aimed to get myself to writing in English, not necessarily a dialogue which I, as an ESL rank beginner, am still doubtful about making a good one. By a stroke of luck, I'v had the fundamentals of basic grammar as I was forced to go through the mill in the high school days and in the early years of college in Korea. Using the gift as a springboard, I've tried to apply, or attach different words, expressions as far as my memory serves off the top of the head. Yet, my heart screamed, "Not bloody likely!" Against all odds, however, I must hold firm in my resolve and bear down if I really wanted to beat the so-called language barrier. Decades passed. The silver-lining is that my unflagging enthusiasm fitted me to get going through all the years of my business and social life as well. Perseverance is the trick. No doubt. |
