Steam is a liquid until you can no longer see it. the stuff you see
rising of boiling water is tiny water particles. that is why your hand
gets wet if you touch it. as the water molecules in the steam rise and
spread out into the air, you are no longer able to see them. this is
when the water molecules are in gas form. *all gasses are invisible-if you can see it, it's not a gas
